Terms of purchase

Regarding the offer and sale of products to which you may have access by entering and using www.epaenlinea.com, these are the general conditions that will apply to said activities (offer and sale): Available items: the products that you can acquire through www.epaenlinea.com correspond (but are not limited to) to: tools, household items, hardware items, construction items, paints, this list and type of products may be varied, expanded, or reduced by www.epaenlinea.com. The prices do not include the price of home transport or assembly.

Payment methods

www.epaenlinea.com accepts as payment methods: valid and current credit or debit cards, Credix, Visa, MasterCard; in the case of transactions through credit cards, www.epaenlinea.com will consider said purchases valid and the person who makes the payment through them as the holder thereof, until the card issuer or the acquirer authorizes the purchase processed through credit or debit cards. Likewise, payment will be accepted through electronic transfer to EPA's bank accounts in banks that will be indicated at the time of purchase. No item will be considered paid until the bank credits the funds into EPA's accounts and EPA personnel confirm the effective deposit in the corresponding accounts. Every purchase made through www.epaenlinea.com is taken as a firm purchase; returns will be handled according to the provisions of the return policy.

Warranties

Unless otherwise indicated on this page or on the purchase invoice, the warranty granted for the items and services offered is 30 business days from the date of purchase. The warranty will apply in this order: repair, replacement, and if neither of the two previous options is applicable, refund of the money. If you need to make use of the warranty, you must bring the item to the store at your own expense in order to analyze the merit of the warranty claim. The warranty is solely for factory defects.

Shipping policies

Home delivery of your purchases has an additional amount for shipping; the cost will be informed at the time of purchase and you agree to pay it when closing the operation. It is necessary that you provide an exact address for the shipment to be made, with details and reference points; www.epaenlinea.com assumes no responsibility for products not delivered due to addresses that are not clear, are imprecise, or are incorrect. In the event that, at the time of delivery of your order, the place is not found, is not open, or no one receives the product, any new shipment will be invoiced and must be paid by the user. Orders that are placed and paid for before 5 pm will receive their product the following business day, provided that the address for the delivery of the order is located within the Greater Metropolitan Area indicated in the Annex and the weight of the acquired product does not exceed 100 kg. Conditions and/or costs are subject to change, so we suggest you check them constantly to verify the most up-to-date ones. For purchases under the "Pick up in Store" modality, items will be kept for a maximum of 15 calendar days at EPA's facilities; after this time has elapsed, we will coordinate the refund of money with the client under the method that applies according to the type of payment used at the time of purchase. The prices expressed are in colones, the currency of Costa Rica. The accessories in the images of the staged products are not included. When delivery of the product cannot be made due to force majeure, we will notify you by email, explaining the reasons that made the execution of the product delivery impossible and the steps you must follow for us to coordinate the delivery of the product at the nearest store. When the delivery of your purchase is made to your address, the person receiving it will be asked for their identity document, and their name, ID number, and signature of receipt will be recorded. The delivery time cannot be guaranteed in the event of situations beyond the transport company's control. The delivery of merchandise is made at the tailgate of the truck. Additionally, the document with which the purchase order payment was made may be requested in order to validate the authenticity thereof. The delivery service to your home covers the entire national territory with adequate land access (inside or outside the Metropolitan Area) and its prices vary depending on the place where the delivery is made, and this amount will be specified in the collection invoice. Payments made for shipping services are not subject to refund.

Returns

For home deliveries, you have the right to return items for 365 calendar days from the date of purchase, provided that you deliver the item intact, new, in its original packaging, unused and unopened, at any of the various EPA points of sale.
In the event of a refund for any reason, it will be processed as follows: if the payment was made via electronic transfer, within a maximum of 2 days after the refund is authorized for the equivalent amount received in our accounts; if the payment was made by credit or debit card, it will be applied as a credit to the corresponding card in accordance with the terms of the respective card issuer.
Payments made through promotions will not be refunded in cash, but will be returned according to the rules of the corresponding promotion.
Products
The prices shown on the website are the same as those in physical EPA stores; however, there are some items that have special prices due to promotions; please note that these items will have a limited sale time according to the promotion, offer, or sale period.

Prices with special clearance discounts on identified products have limited quantities until stock runs out or the deadline passes, whichever occurs first.
We are diligent and constantly review the accuracy of all prices and images on our site; however, we reserve the right to correct errors and adjust prices to account for circumstances or errors beyond our control.
