REGULATIONS FOR THE SALE OF KUMHO TIRES WITH FREE OR INCLUDED INSTALLATION

The company Ferretería EPA, SA with corporate identification number 3-101-354271, establishes these General Regulations, which include all those restrictions, limitations, and conditions that apply for the purpose of regulating and developing the free or included installation benefit for the customer, in order to avoid confusing or erroneous information for the consumer, for which reason the following regulation is established, the observance of which is mandatory for the application of the free or included installation benefit for any of the services in question and especially for the benefit of the sale and installation of Kumho tires, according to these regulations:

Article 1. Validity and Application of the Special Offer or Promotion:

To obtain the promotional benefit of free or included installation, the participant must purchase at least one (1) Kumho tire unit; the promotional benefit of free or included installation offered in the promotion corresponds solely and exclusively to those identified with a sign indicating Free Installation and which have effectively been included in that program by Ferretería EPA, SA. For the purposes of these regulations, the participating codes are:

Likewise, any customer who requests the free installation by presenting a purchase that meets all the requirements to perform the free installation at an Autopits branch will be able to obtain a 15% discount on the total amount for tire balancing and alignment quoted by Autopits. This discount is not cumulative and only applies once at the time of installing the Kumho tires.

The previous code participates in "Free Installation Labor" upon prior communication and coordination of an appointment with the provider, Corporación Grupo Q CR SA & AUTOPITS. In this sense, the free installation labor will be for a permanent or indefinite period. The customer must call the Call Center beforehand to coordinate an appointment. Phone: 2522-7474

Validity of the benefit:

The service will begin on November 20, 2018, and will apply to all units sold through December 31, 2019. Purchases indicated above, made outside the period established in these Regulations, will not have the "Free Installation Labor" benefit.

Free or included installation is understood as the Customer not having to pay an additional sum to the product sale price for installation labor; however, the customer must assume the costs of the materials required to carry out the installation of the Kumho tires, in accordance with the limitations of these Regulations. Car balancing or alignment is not included.

Article 2. Person Responsible for Installation: Ferretería EPA S.A. will not assume any responsibility for the installation of the product purchased by the customer at any of its stores that carries said benefit, as the only one responsible for the quality of the installation will be the provider of the product acquired as well as the installation, which is a third party external to Ferretería Epa S.A. In this sense, the technicians who perform the installation are not hired by Ferretería EPA S.A. nor do they represent it before the consumer; rather, they are workers or contractors of the provider. Ferretería EPA's responsibility to the consumer is limited to offering and advertising the free installation labor for the consumer, selling the product, accessories, and installation material, as well as offering the product warranty, with the installation warranty being the responsibility of the product provider. At all times, the customer must keep the purchase invoice for the product and the required materials in order to initiate and complete the installation.

The deadline to perform the installation will be 30 business days after the purchase, through a telephone coordination process between Grupo Q & AUTOPITS and the end customer.

Coverage Range: Free or Included installation applies only at any of the AUTOPITS branches:

Heredia, San Pedro, Alajuela, Escazú, Moravia, Pinares, Santa Ana, Uruca, Guapiles, San Carlos, Liberia, Perez Zeledón, Cartago, Guadalupe, Cariari, Desamparados.

Cancellation of Installation Appointment: In case of failure to attend the installation appointment, which was scheduled via the Call Center, the customer may lose the appointment if they are not there at the stipulated time and will have to coordinate it again or wait until the location where they were assigned the appointment has a space to assist them.

Article 4. Illustrations and Photographs: The illustrations or photographs used in the publication of the offer or promotion of free installation are solely for illustrative purposes. The size and design, as well as the dimensions of the product on offer or promoted, may vary according to the inventory found in each store.

Article 5. Warranty: The installation will have a warranty, which will be the sole and exclusive responsibility of the provider, who will define the term and the necessary conditions that the customer must meet for its application, which must be communicated by the provider to the customer, as specified below:

15-day warranty for Installation Labor.
The warranty does not apply to failure of materials provided by the customer.

Article 6. Suspension or Modification of the benefit: Ferretería EPA S.A. may modify, suspend, or terminate early any benefit, offer, or promotion of free installation labor, immediately, without any responsibility on its part, totally or partially, indefinitely or definitively, if any cause of force majeure or fortuitous event warrants it. Likewise, for commercial reasons or convenience, it may also modify, suspend, or terminate any offer or promotion under the same terms, at its sole discretion, without the need for prior notice other than that which is published in the customer service offices at each of the Ferretería EPA stores.

Article 7. Non-compliance: Any violation of these regulations and/or the procedures and systems for applying the benefit, Promotion, or Special Offer will imply the immediate exclusion of the consumer from their participation in the Benefit, Promotion, or Offer and/or the revocation of the application of the purchase of Products under the corresponding Benefit, Promotion, or Offer.
