Official Rules for the "Purchase Order Raffle" Promotion
This Regulation (hereinafter the “Regulation”) aims to establish, define, and limit the terms and conditions of the promotion to be carried out by FERRETERÍA EPA S.A., legal entity identification number 3-101-354271, which shall hereinafter and for the purposes of this Regulation be referred to as “The Organizer” and/or “Ferretería EPA S.A.”.
The provisions herein shall be mandatory for the Participants (see definition of Participant below) in said Promotion. Participation in the Promotion implies acceptance by the Participant of the provisions. Any breach of this Regulation implies the immediate exclusion of the Participant, without any liability on the part of Ferretería EPA S.A.
ARTICLE ONE: GENERAL PROVISIONS AND NAME OF THE PROMOTION.
The name of this Promotion shall be “PURCHASE ORDER RAFFLE,” which shall hereinafter and for the purposes of this Regulation be referred to as the “Promotion.”
The Promotion Regulation will be published in the Regulations section of Ferretería EPA on Epaenlinea.com, notwithstanding Ferretería EPA S.A.'s right to freely choose any additional advertising medium to promote the event.
The purpose of this Regulation is to establish and regulate the guidelines and/or conditions that will govern the Raffle of a purchase order.
The Promotion will be governed by the conditions indicated below. By the mere act of participating in the Promotion, Participants accept the rules established in this Regulation, including those clauses that limit the liability of the Organizers, which have been duly communicated to the Participant.
ARTICLE TWO: TERM OF THE PROMOTION
The promotion will be valid from Friday, December 19, 2025, starting at 7:00 am until Friday, January 30, 2026, at 9:00 pm.
ARTICLE THREE: OBJECT OF THE PROMOTION
To participate and be a beneficiary of the Promotion, it is necessary for the Participant to know and accept the conditions and requirements established in this Regulation, which may be explained in a general manner by the Promotions Manager of Ferretería EPA. Likewise, the Participant and any interested party may make inquiries via the email address promociones@cr.epa.biz. Any breach of the Regulation and/or the procedures, mechanics, and application systems of the Promotion implies the immediate exclusion of the Participant from the Promotion and the revocation of any right or prize granted.
Persons interested in participating in the Promotion may do so in the manner described in the following articles:
The object of the Promotion is to offer the public the benefit of being selected as the winner of the prize for this Promotion, in accordance with the mechanics indicated below. The Participant must accept the terms and conditions of this Regulation.
The Promotion will take place at the Showroom facilities in San Rafael, Escazú, San José, Costa Rica; any natural person who fills out the survey on the posters located in various places within the establishment, during the validity period, will have the possibility to participate in the promotion.
ARTICLE THREE-A: PROMOTION MECHANICS
In addition to the above, the promotion will be carried out as follows:
The customer must scan the QR code on the posters located at various points in the establishment and answer the survey to which said QR code redirects; by doing this, they will automatically be participating in the raffle for a purchase order of ¢100,000 (one hundred thousand colones), redeemable at any of our points of sale.
The participant may only fill out the survey once during the validity of the promotion.
Ferretería EPA S.A. reserves the right to demand from the Participant any additional document that may be necessary to apply for the Promotion. In accordance with the provisions herein, during the term of the Promotion, Participants who wish to participate in the raffle shall do so in accordance with the mechanics expressed in this Regulation.
ARTICLE FOUR: DEFINITIONS
The following terms indicated below shall have the meaning established, with the understanding that said meaning shall be applicable to both the singular and plural forms thereof.

“Customer or Participant”: Any natural person participating in the Promotion, subject to the limitations indicated in this Regulation.

“Point of Sale”: Each of the stores in Curridabat, Escazú, Belén, Tibás, Desamparados, and Cartago.

“Personal Data”: (i) Full name (first and last names); (ii) Valid and current personal identification number, duly recognized by the Government of the Republic of Costa Rica; (iii) Phone numbers; (iv) Email address, in compliance with the legal provisions established by the “Law on the Protection of Individuals with regard to the Processing of their Personal Data.”

“Prize”: In this promotion, there is one (1) type of prize, consisting of a purchase order for ¢100,000 (one hundred thousand colones).
ARTICLE FIVE: RAFFLE PROCEDURE AND PRIZE COLLECTION.
Once the validity period mentioned in this regulation has concluded, information from Participants who meet the mentioned requirements will be compiled.
One (1) prize winner will be selected from among all those who have participated. The random raffle will take place on February 4, 2026, at the central offices of Ferretería EPA, S.A., where an Act/Affidavit will be drafted before two (2) witnesses, containing the names of the winning participants and their respective alternates. In total, one (1) alternate will be selected per winner. This information may also be presented to a Notary Public so that they may certify the fulfillment of the requirements and the Promotion process through the drafting of a Notarial Act. The organizer reserves the right to modify the date of the raffle provided that the chances of winning for each participant are not altered.
Subsequently, the correct participation of the selected winner will be verified. If they do not meet the requirements, the selected individual will be disqualified, and the first alternate will be verified, following the same protocol, and so on until all alternate winners are exhausted. In the event that the participation meets all requirements, the winner will be contacted via telephone call within a maximum period of one (1) business day. In the event the selected individual cannot be reached within a maximum of 2 call attempts during this period, a voicemail will be left, and the winner must contact the promotions department no later than the day following the voicemail, through the Ferretería EPA switchboard at 2588-1145, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 3 pm. If the winner cannot be contacted after this, the next corresponding alternate winner will be contacted following the same protocol, and so on until the alternate winners are exhausted. Once all winners are confirmed, the announcement of the winners will proceed. The winner will be announced starting February 10, 2026, provided that everything mentioned in this article has been verified; otherwise, the organizer reserves the right to modify the announcement date until all necessary data for publication has been correctly verified.
After the Raffle has taken place and the beneficiary and/or winner of the prize has been identified in accordance with this Regulation, and once the winner has been contacted following the procedure by a representative of Ferretería EPA S.A., they will be informed of the place, date, and time for the delivery and collection of the corresponding Prize. In this regard, the winner must sign a receipt for their prize, as well as a liability release document for Ferretería EPA S.A., where all the conditions the Prize grants will be expressed, releasing the Sponsor from all liability for the use and/or consumption thereof. Likewise, the winning participant may not claim or request from Ferretería EPA S.A. any additional expense generated by the collection of the Prize, such as transport or the cost associated with it in case they do not have the necessary means to transport and/or install it in the place they freely decide.
If the conditions established in this Regulation are not met, or if the necessary data verification of the official winner cannot be performed, an alternate winner will be automatically selected and the verification of data and delivery of the prize will proceed, taking into account the specifications of this Regulation.
Failure to do so will result in the loss of the right to the prize, and the participant will not be able to claim damages against Ferretería EPA S.A. as a result of the loss of the Prize. Said Prize CANNOT be transferred, as the object of the promotion is for the fan and/or follower who made the comment and presented their valid identity card to be the beneficiary of the Prize. Likewise, the winning Participant authorizes Ferretería EPA S.A., freely and spontaneously, to use their image rights and name in promotional campaigns and any type of advertising carried out by Ferretería EPA S.A., without being able to request any remuneration for it.
In the event of having accepted the Prize, should the Participant refuse to receive it or complete the respective paperwork for formalization, the beneficiary will lose their right to the Prize. A Notarial Act will be drafted regarding these circumstances at the Organizer’s discretion. The awarding of any of the prizes will be conditioned upon compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as compliance with the provisions of this Regulation. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify and/or demand the return of prizes awarded to those participants who directly or indirectly breach the terms and conditions previously established herein. If the winner does not demonstrate their willingness to accept these conditions, the organizers will not assume any type of responsibility, exonerating themselves from the obligation to allow participation and the delivery of a prize or benefit.
ARTICLE SIX: IMAGE USE AND FINAL PROVISIONS.
In order to make the results of the Promotion public, at the Organizer's decision and discretion, the participant who results as the winner of this Promotion expressly authorizes the Organizer to have their name and image appear in publications and other advertising media and, in general, in all dissemination material for activities subsequent to the Promotion, such as the delivery and receipt of prizes, without implying remuneration or additional compensation, nor claims for image rights. By participating, they adhere to the regulations of this Regulation and cannot refuse the disclosure of their information and image rights.
It is stated that all illustrations and/or photographs used corresponding to the prize in the publications of this Promotion correspond to the reality of what is offered and promoted by Ferretería EPA. If the selected Participant does not appear to redeem their prize within the period indicated in this Regulation, it shall be considered a voluntary waiver of their right to claim the prize. The selected Participant shall not have any right to claim or compensation, not even partially, which each Participant accepts by voluntarily adhering to the participation in the promotion. If such a situation occurs, the Organizer is authorized to select an alternate winner as appropriate.
Ferretería EPA, S.A. will collect certain confidential information from the Participant, including but not limited to their personal data in accordance with the provisions of the “Law on the Protection of Individuals with regard to the Processing of their Personal Data” and its Regulation. Therefore, at the moment of selection as a Winner or Beneficiary, the Participant must sign all documents that the Organizer determines, to authorize Ferretería EPA, S.A. to collect and, in general, use their data for the purpose of being able to communicate as the winner of the Promotion.
Likewise, in special cases that warrant it, at the Sponsor's decision, a Notarial Act will be drafted regarding these circumstances to certify any fact not foreseen in this Regulation.
In the event that one is the Winner and for any reason, whether it be that they do not meet the conditions regulated herein, or by their own will do not accept the Prize, they cannot claim from the Organizer any indemnity amount or a consolation prize, as the same is not regulated by this Promotion.
The Promotion and the Participants are subject to the requirements, conditions, and restrictions of this Regulation.
In the event of any case of force majeure or acts of God, Ferretería EPA S.A. may suspend the Promotion in whole or in part, without any liability arising from such suspension.
Ferretería EPA S.A. will not be responsible for the collateral expenses that the Participant incurs in carrying out the proceedings to make this Promotion effective. These collateral expenses refer to: cost of calls, preparation of documents, copies, transport cost, among others.
Ferretería EPA S.A. reserves the right to suspend the benefits of this Promotion in cases where it is determined that its benefits have been applied through deceit, fraud, or other illegal activity.
The mechanics of this Promotion, as well as the Intellectual Property derived from it, are the exclusive property of Ferretería EPA S.A.
The responsibility of Ferretería EPA S.A. ends with the delivery of the Prize corresponding to the winning Participant, so the organizer is responsible only for the delivery of the prize indicated in this Regulation.
The winner of the prize will be responsible for the use and enjoyment they make of it.
The Organizer will not be responsible for any unauthorized human intervention by third parties to computer systems or similar that alter the development of the promotion; therefore, in the event of detecting any such situation, said Promotion will be suspended.
