Production Plant Leader

Job Responsibilities:

The Production Plant Coordinator / Leader is responsible for overseeing and directing manufacturing, assembly, and transformation operations at the plant, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with production metrics, and effective management of the staff under their supervision.

This includes:

• • Direct leadership and supervision of operational staff in the production plant.
  • Control and interpretation of operational metrics (OEE, Lead Time, WIP).
  • Production and inventory management using ERP systems.
  • Implementation and maintenance of the 5S methodology in work areas.

Requirements for successful performance of the role:

• • Technician in Production Supervision.
  • Preferably 3 to 5 years of experience in Plant Management, Production Lead, or General Supervisor positions in manufacturing, assembly, or transformation plants.
  • Proven experience in leading operational personnel.
  • Proficiency in ERPs and production/inventory management systems.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and formulas).
  • Key competencies: Transformational leadership, collective synergy, attention to detail, and a culture of prevention and safety.
  • Work location: Coyol de Alajuela.

Desirable requirements:

• • In-depth knowledge and practical implementation of the 5S methodology.
