Logistics Assistant / Forklift Operator

Job Responsibilities:

The Logistics Assistant / Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe transport, stacking, and movement of materials and finished products within the plant and dispatch areas, maintaining warehouse organization and preventing cargo damage.

This includes:

• Safe and efficient operation of forklifts within the plant and loading/unloading zones.
• Application of safe stacking techniques, center of gravity control, and load limits.
• Basic preventive maintenance of forklift equipment.

Requirements for successful performance:

• Completed high school education.
• Valid certificate and license for forklift operation.
• Desirable 1 to 2 years of experience as a forklift operator, warehouse assistant, distribution center worker, or in storage facilities.
• Key competencies: Operational discipline, attention to detail, team synergy.
• Work location: Coyol, Alajuela.

Desirable requirements:

• Experience in handling melamine boards or large-dimension materials.
