If you are thinking about creating or renovating your bathroom, we present an option that will add a lot of personality to that space without spending too much or putting in too much effort.
Our proposal is to change the appearance of one or two walls in your bathroom by painting stripes. This is a decorative trend that adds freshness, modernity, and a sense of space.
They look very distinguished in bathrooms, and depending on their size and the space you have available, you can play with the direction and width of the stripes.
Horizontal stripes define height and shorten dimensions, so it is best to use them in spacious rooms. For small rooms, vertical stripes are recommended to give a feeling of greater height. Avoid overloading the walls with stripes; it is enough to apply them to just one of them to get the effect you are looking for.
Decorate your bathroom in an original way using only paint.
Do it yourself!
1. Paint in the color of your choice
3. 1” x 54 m blue painter's tape
5. Level
Instructions:
1. Choose the paint colors you want to use. In small spaces, we recommend using white as a base, so the stripes create a sense of depth.
2. Measure the height of the wall using the measuring tape and divide that height by the number of stripes you want. The result of this division will be the width that each stripe should have.
3. Once the width of the stripes is defined, use the measuring tape, the level, and the blue painter's tape to mark off the stripes and spaces. Make sure to press the edges of the tape using your fingers or a credit card to prevent paint from seeping underneath the adhesive.
4. Paint the stripes using your painting set. When you finish, remove the tape while the paint is still wet to avoid damaging it. Wall stripes are a classic in decoration, as they create an attractive optical effect. Dare to change your bathroom by painting decorative stripes to give more style to this space. Do it yourself!
